In athletics, we call track tests those that are performed within a closed circuit, that is, in a track, which is generally oval in shape, and consists of two straight lines joined at each end by a curve. When we talk about track events, we are talking about the following:

Speed ​​racing :

These are the most spectacular tests, according to the fans, of those included in athletics, the most notable being the 100 meters straight, which is played in a straight line, obtaining the victory the athlete who first crosses the goal with the trunk, not with the head. Middle distance races:

Middle distance races or half-depth races. Athletes competing in these races must possess, not only great strength and endurance but must also meet a series of technical requirements.

Also known as long distance races. The athletes participating in these tests have to have great resistance, and most of them are usually thin and of low or medium height.

Hurdles races:
