Running Technique for Beginners

Running Technique for Beginners

July 8, 2021 by Daniel Johnson Leave a Comment

When a person, who has not practiced any sport in their life. Decides that they want to start running in order to get in shape. There are many factors that will have to be taken into account.

As we can suppose, although the intention is to run for half an hour a day. This will not be the case from the first day, since at the beginning you will need training and, of course, takes time.

We must also take into account that not all people are the same and that some factors also influence their resistance, such as the fact that the person, even if they have been inactive for years, played sports at some other time in their life. Genetic inheritance is also important here, making it easier for some than for others to reach their goal.

There are general plans, ideal for everyone, such as the one consisting of 12 weeks of training, after which the fact of running 30 minutes a day will no longer pose any difficulty.

The plan consists of starting walking 3 days a week, only 20 minutes the first and 30 minutes in the second. From the third week, walking will be combined with running, a few minutes, which will gradually increase, day by day and week after week until you reach week 12.

We have to achieve, for a better result, that the rhythm is comfortable for each one, as well as try to do about 10 minutes of stretching at the end of each session.
