How to Have a Flat Stomach?

Both men and women like to show off their bodies, especially in the summertime where they want to show a toned belly without the annoying love handles. To achieve this you must follow certain tips to obtain a flat stomach that we want so much.

The first thing is to have a balanced and healthy diet, eat low-fat foods, as well as limit sodium consumption as it promotes fluid retention by giving you a bloated belly appearance and be careful not to overeat carbohydrates and refined sugar. Introduce into your diet foods rich in fiber, fruits, and lean proteins which will give you a good balance of nutrients in your body. Drink an average of 2 liters of water a day to stay hydrated and reduce alcohol consumption as it stimulates your appetite.

Exercise plays an important role, perform cardiovascular anaerobic exercises such as cycling, swimming or walking, in a period of at least 30 minutes 3 to 4 times a week that will help you burn fat, also add with an abdominal routine in average 15 to 25 repetitions to strengthen the muscles in that area.

It does not hurt to visit a nutritionist who will advise you on the healthiest diets according to your physical condition, and thus avoid doing the famous miracle diets that instead of helping you would put an obstacle to the belly you want; don’t skip any meals that will make you eat more in the long run. Get enough rest, sometimes stress or little sleep stimulates the appetite, keep your mind positive and be patient. You will not achieve a flat stomach overnight, only with perseverance you can get the belly you want.
